Страшно и Йончево езеро
През ноември дните са кратки, а зимата вече напомня за себе си. Много хора са зазимили лятната екипировка и закриват сезона на планинските преходи, мислейки си, че времето е вече лошо. Но всъщност това не е така! Този период от годината се характеризира с така наречените инверсии, при които тежкия студен въздух остава в ниското, а колкото по-нагоре се изкачваме, толкова повече се вдига 
температурата. Благодарение на това явление, облачността и мръсният въздух от двигателите на колите биват “притискани” към земната повърхност, в градовете. Тоест доста често през този месец във високото се радваме на прекрасно време над облаците
!
Късната есен е един от най-хубавите моменти за планински преходи!
Страшното и Йончево са две прекрасни езера в Мальовишкия дял на Рила. Ще направим кръгов маршрут тръгвайки от Централна Планинска хижа, през хижа Мальовица. Пътеката се вие по долината нагоре към Страшното езеро, заобиколена от гигантите Малка и Голяма Мальовица, Камилата, Орловец, Купените, Ловница - застанали като гордо изправени стражи.
Имената езерата са свързани с художника Христо Йончев. Той обичал планините и бил известен с Рилските си пейзажи. Веднъж, когато бил на Страшното езеро, го застигнала страшна буря и той затичал надолу. По пътя си срещнат други туристи викайки “Горе е страшно, езерото е страшно”. Тогава кръстили горното езеро “Страшното”, а другото, на художника – “Йончевото”.

Shoes
Suitable shoes for the mountain, according to the weather forecast. High ankle or low shoes. You may wear sneakers to change into at the end of the program

Headlamp - An absolute must-have accessory for every mountaineer. It may be necessary for the group to start a trek very early or finish the trek in the dark (force majeure).
