We immerse ourselves in the heart of the Balkan with a walk that combines challenge and beauty. Over two days we will cross ridges and forests, climb panoramic summits and feel the grandeur of the range. We will enjoy the sunrise from Yumruka peak, see the sunset off above Kavladan peak, and gather countless moments that only the Balkan range can give.

Tour Itinerary
The transfer to Klisura takes about an hour and a half. On arrival we sort out our packs, go briefly over the day ahead and set off along the route. We begin the walk with a steep climb alongside the Haydushki Dol river. Soon we come out at the start of the Hayduk ridge, which we traverse from the west, and continue upstream through the shaded wooded section. We reach the „Ravna“ locality, where the hardest climb of the day begins - the southern slope of Kamenitsa peak. Once on the summit we will enjoy panoramic views towards Vezhen peak, the Ambaritsa crest and as far as Botev. From here we head east and descend towards the „Eho“ hut, traversing beneath Yumruka peak. At the hut we give ourselves a short break, and then head for the neighbouring Kavladan peak to see the day off with a beautiful autumn sunset in warm colours.
We will rise early, before sunrise, and head for Yumruka peak to meet the first rays of the November morning. Once we have enjoyed the views and captured the moment, we will return to the hut for a good breakfast and a short rest. We then set off back towards the transport. Depending on conditions and what the group is capable of, we may choose an alternative route down to Klisura.
