This year we will gather at the welcoming Popovi Livadi hut, tucked amid the magic of Middle Pirin. 🌲 It is easily reached on a good asphalt road, only 17 km from the town of Gotse Delchev. The area is rich in cultural sights and walking routes, which will make our stay all the more exciting.

Tour Itinerary
Departure at 07:30 from the car park in front of the Vasil Levski stadium in Sofia. The transfer to the Popovi Livadi hut takes about 3:00 hours. On arrival we will settle in and have lunch, and then the day is ours. Depending on the conditions and the mood of the group, we can choose one of the following walks:
Orelyak peak (2,099 m) - the highest in Middle Pirin. Total: ~5:00 h / ~ +650 m / ~12 km
or
Sveshtnik peak (1,975 m) - the second highest in Southern Pirin. Total: ~4:00 h / ~ +600 m / ~7 km
After returning from the walk we will have the chance to rest and unwind in the warm mineral waters of the village of Ognyanovo. 🛁✨ In the evening we gather back at the hut to get ready for the festive dinner. 🍽️🎄
Today we give ourselves a well-earned rest - a proper sleep and an unhurried breakfast, after which we head for the area of the village of Zlatolist, Melnik and the Rozhen Monastery, where we will look at the historical sights and soak up the atmosphere of these places. In the afternoon we set off back to Sofia, richer for new impressions and memories.

Headlamp - An absolute must-have accessory for every mountaineer. It may be necessary for the group to start a trek very early or finish the trek in the dark (force majeure). About 40 liters backpack - Quite enough for one or two day hikes. Please come to treks with a backpack suitable for trekking. Very often, each participant needs to attach snowshoes to their backpack, and this cannot happen with urban backpacks
