A one-day winter walk on snowshoes to Slavov peak (2,306 m). We will climb an exceptionally panoramic summit in eastern Rila. The walk suits beginners and first steps in the winter mountains.

Tour Itinerary
We set off towards the Belmeken reservoir. We leave the cars at the Hristo Smirnenski hut. A briefing, and we head for our objective for the day. There is no waymarking to Slavov peak. The climb is steady and has no difficult sections. On the summit we will take plenty of time for photographs, after which we return to the cars.

Headlamp - An absolute must-have accessory for every mountaineer. It may be necessary for the group to start a trek very early or finish the trek in the dark (force majeure). About 40 liters backpack - Quite enough for one or two day hikes. Please come to treks with a backpack suitable for trekking. Very often, each participant needs to attach snowshoes to their backpack, and this cannot happen with urban backpacks
