Tour Itinerary
We set off towards Dobrinishte and the Gotse Delchev hut. Time to move from the seat in the minibus to the seat on the lift. The lift takes us up to the Bezbog hut in about 40 minutes. The guides give the group a short briefing and safety instruction. We shoulder our packs and set off to carry out the day's plan. The path passes the frozen lake and we begin a steady climb. Breaks are spaced sensibly, so that everyone can manage. And so, after about 2 hours, we reach Bezbog peak at 2,653 m, our first objective of the day. A staggering winter picture opens towards the Strazhite and our next objective, Polezhan - the fourth highest peak in Pirin.
As we stride through the snow towards the highest point, in the moments of rest you will enjoy a sea of snowy summits. On the summit we will take time for photographs and breathtaking panoramas towards Dzhano, Dzhangal and Golyama Strazha - 360 degrees of summit beauty.
Time to head down. We descend by the same way to the hut and, depending on the group, either take the lift down or walk to the Gotse Delchev hut.
As a reward for a wonderful EPIC day, there is no way we are missing a meal at a tavern in Dobrinishte.
