Peak Izdremets and raspberry wine at Trustenaya Hut

Balkan

Mountains and raspberry wine, indeed a great combination. Join us to climb the highest peak of Golema Planina - Peak Izdremets (1492m) and taste the raspberry wine harvest at Trustenaya Hut.

Tour Itinerary

7:00 AM - Departure from Sofia (Vasil Levski National Stadium).

9:00 AM - Meeting point in Lakatnik. The group with organized transportation and individuals with personal cars gather at the previously sent location. The guide provides a brief overview and instructions to the group. We check our gear and we're ready for today's adventure.

After about 2 hours, we reach Trustenaya Hut, where we take a break for a cup of tea and then continue along the route towards the summit. Passing by the Cheremnik biofarm and through the forest belt, we reach the peak at 1492 meters. Here's the moment to catch your breath, marvel at the stunning views, and take photos while resting from the ascent. After the break, it's time to descend towards the delicious feasts and raspberry wine. We recommend leaving some space in your backpacks to take a bottle or two home. We'll spend about an hour and a half at the hut. Refreshed, having eaten, and with our backpacks full of wine, we slowly make our way back to the starting point.

Another epic day comes to its end.
