An early departure from Sofia.
We reach Evia by a short and pleasant ferry crossing that puts us in the atmosphere of the Greek islands at the very start of the adventure. The crossing itself offers beautiful views over the Aegean and is an ideal opening to an unforgettable kayak journey.
We settle into a welcoming campsite on the shore with its own beach, washrooms, showers, a small shop and a taverna.
Small bungalows can also be rented on request, subject to availability for the chosen dates. The earlier you book, the better the chance that some are free.
The afternoon is given to introductory kayak training with our experienced coaches. We will paddle along the coastline and break for a swim and some snorkelling — and why not see the sunset off from the boats.

Among the most striking places around Evia are the small volcanic islands of Lichadonisia - a true natural paradise hidden off the north of the island. The archipelago is made up of several small islands shaped by volcanic activity thousands of years ago, which today astonish with their singular landscape and atmosphere.
We head there by kayak, to shallow, crystal-clear emerald water, white rock formations, golden strips of sand and calm bays perfect for swimming and resting. The colours of the sea and the sense of a deserted island give the impression of an exotic destination far from civilisation. Here we will have time to enjoy the sea, swim in the transparent water, explore the little islands by kayak and take in the calm of one of the most beautiful places in northern Greece. Lichadonisia is the perfect combination of adventure, nature and relaxation - an unforgettable high point of our kayak journey along the shores of Evia.
Breakfast, fragrant coffee, and we are ready for another adventure at sea.
Today we head for the horizon, following the picturesque line of the shore. By kayak we move past beautiful coastal scenery, hidden bays and quiet corners of the sea that can only be reached from the water.
Along the route we have planned regular stops for the beach, for rest and for a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water. Every hour there is a chance to enjoy the sun, the sea and the singular atmosphere of the Greek coast.
If the forecast is good we may also take you across to the eastern shore, and surprise you with a wonderful beach.
In the late afternoon we head for the town of Loutraki, where a real pleasure for the senses awaits - the natural mineral springs beside the sea. The warm healing waters are the perfect place to relax after an active day on the water, and will give us well-earned recovery and calm.
The evening will end, as tradition demands, at one of the local tavernas.
It is time to set off for Bulgaria.
We will stop for a coffee at the port while we wait for our ferry.
