Tour Itinerary
The adventure begins in the village of Zelenigrad, from where we head for some of the most interesting sights in the area. On the way to the summit we turn off to the panoramic rock of Shilyi Kamik, the mysterious cave of Tsareva Tsarkva and the rock niche of Tsvetanovo Izhle - places that give the route both its beauty and its character. After these stops we carry on upwards, where the gradient grows steadily more insistent and asks more of us. The climb brings us out on the mountain's main ridge, where Ruy peak is waiting. The moment we stand on it a grand panorama opens up -endless horizons and views that repay every bit of the effort. Here we take a well-earned break for lunch and for simply looking. The descent towards the village of Zabel follows a pleasant forest track, and at the end of the day we can gather at the Paramun inn to share impressions and run through a short debrief of the walk.
