Brichebor is a quiet, rarely visited peak (2,104 m) above the Rila Monastery, looking straight into the heart of Rila.
The climb follows a ridge hidden from the tourist crowds, through forest and open crest, before opening out to a panorama of the central Rila summits. Suited to strong, well-prepared hikers used to a long day in the mountains.

Tour Itinerary
We start from Camping Bor (about 1-1.5 km beyond the Rila Monastery towards Kirilova Polyana, on the bank of the Rilska river) and head up onto the Brichebor ridge - wooded at first, then steadily more open, until the crest leads us out directly below the summit. From Brichebor (2,104 m) the panorama opens over the central part of Rila.
If the group is going well and we have time in hand, we extend the walk along the crest beyond the summit, towards Chaushka Chuka and Baba, before turning back down. That is entirely the guide's call on the day, and depends on the group's pace, the hour and the weather.
